David Matthew Prior, MCC

David brings 15 years of executive coaching experience as a Master Certified Coach (MCC) based in the New York City Metropolitan area. He has an MBA from Thunderbird in international management and coaches fluently in English, Spanish and French. David is a core faculty member of Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program for Internal and External Coaches, and an instructor at the University of Texas at Dallas where he teaches coaching ethics and standards and mentors coaches in the Professional and Executive Coach Training Program.

David’s depth as a top tier coach evolved from a diversity of experience, including previous career stints from Trust and Financial Planning Officer with Chase Bank Texas to professional Acting Instructor of Improvisation at the Michael Howard Studios in New York. As a pioneer of the coaching profession in the United States (mid 1990s), he rose to Vice President and Executive Committee Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), serving on its Global Board of Directors from 2005-2007. He previously served as Co-Chair of the ICF Ethics and Standards Committee from 2003-2006.

His organizational coaching work has encompassed an industry-range of clients including: L’Oreal, AP Moeller Maersk, BNP Paribas, Nokia, Nokia Siemens Network, DBM, Microsoft, Merrill Lynch, Malaria No More, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Johnson & Johnson, LifeCell, Omgeo, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). David’s recent overseas assignments have extended to Odessa, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Panama City, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, Genoa, Bogota, Lima and Madrid. He has been featured on CNBC Business News and has been a contributing Coach for Men’s Health Magazine, Spain.
