Alan Graham, PhD

As a consultant, coach, educator, author and presenter, Alan has over two decades of experience helping thousands of individuals and organizations navigate business and life's challenges, and gain the tools they need to increase productivity and be more effective leaders. His experience has included coaching and consulting with business leaders, executives and organizations in a variety of settings. He has consulted to many large and small organizations including Abbott Labs, Deloitte Consulting, Leo Burnett Company, Datamars, Wauconda Tool and Engineering, R. Lavin & Sons, Melvin Securities, and Magellan Behavioral Health.

While creating and managing his own organizations, ACP Consultants and the ADD Centers, Alan also held the position of adjunct professor at the University of Illinois School of Medicine and at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He currently trains coaches through the MentorCoach program.  As a way of sharing his entrepreneurial and management skills and experience, Alan has served as the chair of the steering committee for the American Psychological Association’s Business of Practice Network (BOPN). The BOPN is an organization created to help psychologists understand the needs of business and to recognize psychologically healthy workplaces.Alan is also the Illinois representative to BOPN and chairs the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program in Illinois.

Alan’s current interests are in the areas of ADD trait behaviors among leaders, emotional intelligence, employee engagement and resilience.
