Karen Goins
Karen is a results oriented leader who is presently coaching a diverse slate of leaders, resulting in focused career choices, career transition, behavior modification and improved team dynamics. Her focus also includes training, facilitation and human resources consulting.
Karen has successfully coached and mentored executive leadership individuals on the topic of diversity and inclusion, changing demographics and customer base. This work resulted in creation of a five-year diversity strategy, multiple diversity/inclusion councils and two new truck dealerships. She also has worked to “turn around” dysfunctional leadership teams, one in particular that resulted in 29 successful product launches.
Karen is sought after to share her knowledge on various topics such as the transition of talent in the global marketplace, networking and how to have difficult conversations. She is on the corporate advisory board for the University of Michigan College of Engineering, a mentor for the Black MBA Leadership of Tomorrow program and a member of WIIS - Women in International Security based in DC. She has also worked with various non-profit organizations and universities.
