Greg Burns
Greg is an executive coach and a learning and development, human resources consultant with over 25 years of leadership experience. He is a strong business partner who understands organizational needs and rapidly identifies, aligns, and develops appropriate human capital solutions. He has significant Fortune 500 global, cross industry experience in consumer products, retail and financial services.
Greg has been an accomplished internal and external executive coach for global senior leaders in North America, Europe, Latin America and Japan. His clients have ranged from VPs to C-suite executives including Presidents, CFOs, marketing, technology, sales, legal, compliance and risk management heads in a variety of finance-centered businesses including wealth management, corporate, consumer and investment banking as well as consumer products, pharmaceuticals, professional services and non-profits.
Greg has been able to build a transformational practice based on years of successful senior leadership experience, most recently as the first Chief Learning Officer for Citigroup (and member of the Global HR Operating Committee), where he was responsible for centralizing the strategy and business/regional governance of 109 organizations as well as 1700 Learning and Development professionals in 41 countries.
He has significant HR leadership experience including serving as the Senior HR Officer for the Consumer Lending Group, a $2 billion net income division of Citigroup. Prior to that he had significant roles in Organizational Capability at Pepsi and Training & HR at Saks Fifth Avenue.
